Be A Pearl in Ashes

BORN OUT OF THE WORD OF THE LORD TO US IN;

Matthew 5:14-16

You are the light of this world a city set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do people light a lamp and get it under a bowl instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

How should a young Christian live in a lost world filled with loose morals? How must we walk the walk of our faith in Christ without getting pulled away by the strings that bind.
You are a Pearl in Ashes; A light of the world.In this day and now, it’s relatively easy for the youth to lose focus of their relationship with the Lord and get lost into the world influenced by the enemy. When it comes to battling with a form of distraction as a youth, worldliness is no exception. Many young/young adult Christians attend Church periodically yet are still in need of a saving relationship with Christ because they have not set themselves apart as pearls in the ashes of this world. 
One’s heart must not be partway sold out to God! There is nothing like hooking on to God at the same time hooking on to the world. And there is no such thing as growing in Christ while the soul is fastened up with worldliness.Our hearts professedly set upon heaven must not be held in slavery to the world which would be like an eye blinded by the intrusion of an external material.

We are called to be the light! To be different! Our lifestyle, mindset, character, attitude, conduct, what we sow our strength into – stuff we watch, listen to and give much attention to, must be of God and be pleasing to His name. We are not to live by the ideologies that reign and the maxims that prevail in this world. Our affections must not be fixed on worldly objects as our portion…you shouldn’t love a God-estranged world! Their ways are not to be imitated, their customs followed or their manners to be conformed unto.  
Our lives must bear fruit and produce goodness!
Being a light of the world- a pearl in ashes is to reflect the nature of God in this world.Don’t fall victim to the distraction – the poisonous weapon of worldliness. If we are to truly live a dedicated life to Christ, then, we must get rid of the world in our lives.

Be a Pearl in the Ashes of this world…….
